The conversion requires boring the factory iron block to 86.5mm. The rotating assembly is then configured using your supplied 84mm stroke crankshaft paired with 135mm connecting rods and custom pistons. The standard setup yields an 11.0:1 high compression ratio, though an alternative 86mm bore configuration with a 10.2:1 compression ratio is available upon request.

The service includes a complete motor reseal with all engine gaskets and seals replaced during assembly. Reliability upgrades are built into the service, featuring an oil pump tensioner conversion kit, a secured oil pump nut, and new stainless steel valve cover hardware. A new aluminum M52 style valve cover is also available upon request.

The custom pistons and matching ring sets are sourced from an outside vendor and manufactured to order; overall engine build lead times will vary based on component production schedules.
